REVIEW – Girls In Love by Jacqueline Wilson

girls in love 2This is the first book in the Girls series by Jacqueline Wilson, which make better sense if you read the books in order.

Girls in Love introduces three friends who are very different but have a really strong friendship. My favourite character is Magda because she’s nice and stylish, but I liked the other two girls too. My least favourite character in the story is Ellie’s dad because he is being awkward.

The story shows you Ellie’s emotions and you really believe they are true. I particularly liked the way the characters developed, especially the boyfriends.

I would recommend this book to girls aged 11+.
