logo-2014Hello, and happy World Book Day!

World Book Day started seventeen years ago and is a celebration of reading. Find out more on their website.

There are new £1 books available right now, and you can use your token to buy one, or use it to get £1 off another book.

Here is a list of the special books that are available:

  • Barry Loser: I Am Not Nit a Loser by Jim Smith
  • Middle School: How I Got Lost in London by James Patterson
  • Fun with the Worst Witch by Jill Murphy

  • The Midnight Picnic: A Laura Marlin Mystery by Lauren St John
  • Jack Pepper by Sara Lean
  • Rock War: The Audition by Robert Muchamore
  • The Boy in the Smoke by Maureen Johnson

I’m especially looking forward to reading Middle School: How I Got Lost in London by James Patterso9780099568087n.  I’ve read other Middle School books and really enjoyed them! Here is more about this World Book Day book:

“As school trips go, this one is pretty awesome…
When I was told we were going to London to study Living History, I thought they were joking. But here I am! Rafe Khatchadorian – global jetsetter!
Now all I need to do is find a way of avoiding the school bully, getting Jeanne Galletta to talk to me, and try not to get lost in London.
But things are never that simple. So fasten your seatbelts and hold on tight, because this could be a very bumpy flight…”

How are you celebrating World Book Day?
