REVIEW – Girls in Tears by Jacqueline Wilson

This is the fourth and final instalment in the Girls series by Jacqueline Wilson.1193362

The book is about all the things which make you cry. The chapter names are reasons that people cry, and there are pictures. Not all of the reasons are sad – some are happy!

Nadine meets someone on the Internet and goes to meet them, which is what brings her friends back after a difficult time. Like the other books, this is a story about the strength of friendship. My favourite character is Nicola Sharp the illustrator because she cheered Ellie up when she was upset.

I loved the ending of this story because it made me feel like the characters would carry on having adventures even after the book is closed.

I recommend the whole series for ages 11+ and girls who like stories about friendship.

I reviewed the first one in the series here, the second one here, and the third one here.
